Terms and Conditions
1 –RESERVATION
This contract takes effect upon payment of the deposit (online by credit card or by bank transfer).
The reservation is effective after the return of these rental terms and conditions signed by the customer within 15 days. Payment of the deposit requires payment of the balance, even in the event of cancellation (see § Cancellation below).
2 – PRICE
The price includes the rental of the equipped accommodation, cleaning at the end of the stay, occupancy charges (water, heating, electricity) as well as the options chosen by the tenant (bed linen, bath towels, etc.). The tourist tax is indicated in the rental price: 1.5 € per adult and per night.
In the event of late possession of the accommodation or early departure, no refund can be claimed.
Deposit: 25% of the total price will be paid when booking
Balance: the balance of the total price will be paid 45 days before the start of the stay. If the balance is not paid 30 days before the start of the stay, the owner may cancel the reservation and retain the deposit amount.
Security deposit: € 500 taken from credit card or by bank transfer 21 days before the start of the stay. See clause 4 below.
If the reservation is made less than 45 days before the start of the stay, the full price will be paid at the time of booking.
3 – ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE / CHECK-IN
Check-in to the apartment is from 4 p.m. by digital code. The code will be given to the tenant 2 weeks before the start of the stay. It will be active from 4 p.m. on the day of arrival until 10 a.m. on the day of departure.
2 sets of keys giving access to the apartment, the rubbish room and the ski locker are to be collected in the apartment. These keys must be left in the apartment on final departure.
Using the digital code makes it easier for family members to get around. However, a family member must take at least one set of keys outside the apartment in the event of a digital code system malfunction.
In the event of loss of keys, an amount of € 50 will be retained per set lost. If the keys are inadvertently taken away, return them immediately by express mail to 590 rue des Moraines, 01170 Chevry, France.
Departure must be before 10 a.m.
4 – SECURITY DEPOSIT
The deposit of 500€ is paid to cover any damage caused to the owner’s property or missing items or for extra cleaning costs.
The tenant will be held responsible for any damage due to his inattention or negligence.
An inventory will be sent to the tenant 2 weeks before the stay. The tenant has 48 hours after the start of the stay to report any complaint in writing (a digital form is available to facilitate this process). Otherwise, the premises, inventory and equipment will be deemed to be compliant and in good condition.
The tenant is required to return the accommodation in a tidy state, empty the fridge, take out the trash, and return the furniture and objects to their original place. If it was found to be otherwise, the amount of extra cleaning will be deducted from the amount of the security deposit, up to € 80.
The apartment is checked systematically after each tenant leaves by a person representing the owner.
The security deposit will be refunded 7 days after the departure of the tenant.
5 – OCCUPATION
The rented premises can only be used as a holiday residence. The lessee may not sublet or assign his rights to this agreement. The tenant is required to respect the internal or co-ownership regulations, in particular the tranquillity of the neighbourhood.
The furnished apartment may under NO circumstances be occupied by a number of people greater than that specified at time of booking (children and babies included). Otherwise, the contract will be terminated immediately without the tenant being able to claim any reimbursement of the sums paid, or a supplement of 150 € per person may be requested by the owner.
The tenant is required to close the premises on departure, leaving the keys in the apartment. The owner declines all responsibility in the event of theft or burglary on the rented premises.
The tenant is responsible for damage occurring to the premises entrusted to him.
6 – CANCELLATION PRIOR TO STAY
Any cancellation must be notified in writing (by mail or email) and the customer will be liable for the sums due according to the following scale:
– Cancellation 45 days or more before arrival: 25% of the price of the stay
– Cancellation less than 45 days before arrival: 100% of the price of the stay
The amount of the security deposit paid will be refunded.
Tourist taxes paid will be refunded. We strongly advise you to take out Chapka cancellation insurance which will allow you to be compensated for the sums paid if the Company accepts the claim:
